Some grant funding mentions 501(c)(3) status and we are a clinic that is part of a law school. Do we need to apply for 501(c)(3) status in order to get grant funding? Does the educational institution status of the law school count?
Check with your faculty advisor. Assuming the law school has 501(c)(3) status, it is likely that the school could obtain the grant to be used by the clinic.
