A federal District Court in Maine has denied a preliminary injunction requested by a nonprofit family services agency to prevent a former employee from using a video technique developed at the agency to produce videos for commercial distribution. Woodfords Family Services had hired Laura Casey in its early childhood services program. Woodfords had developed a video self-modeling product for children with special needs in which it took a photograph of a special needs child and placed it on the filmed body of a child without special needs to model appropriate behavior.
