The standard for showing a prima facie case of job discrimination under the federal Rehabilitation Act is more stringent than the standard under the Americans with Disabilities Act, a federal District Court in Virginia has held. A suit by a blind employee who claimed discrimination in his termination by a nonprofit independent living center has been dismissed.
