Hospital thrift shop manager may sue for retaliation

A hospital thrift shop manager who was fired after she developed carpal tunnel syndrome from her hands-on work of lifting, sorting, arranging, repairing and cleaning inventory has been permitted to pursue a claim against her foundation employer for retaliation, even though the court has dismissed her claim for “outrage” in the manner of her termination.
