Museum employees not protected as whistleblowers
Two employees of a nonprofit museum are not entitled to whistleblower protections in claiming that they were fired for telling the state that it would not be acquiring all of the items it expected in taking over the museum’s collection, the Court of Appeals of New Mexico has ruled. The employees argued that they were seeking to prevent a fraud on the state. The Court ruled that there was no fraud involved.
