Tortious interference with employment claim dismissed
A federal District Court in Wisconsin has dismissed a claim for tortious interference with an employment contract brought by the Deputy Director of the Marshfield Clinic Research Foundation who had been ousted from his job after losing a battle to prevent restructuring the foundation and its parent, the Marshfield Clinic. The Court said he had not pled a sufficient independent wrong to justify the suit.
