Unrenewed members are not a protected class

Members of a community association who were not permitted to renew their memberships, allegedly because they sought the incorporation of a new village that would acquire part of the Association’s waterfront property, are not members of a protected class entitled to sue the directors for conspiracy, a federal District Court in New York has held.
